Robot chicken sweet j presents series The series first appeared as Sweet J Presents on the Sony website in 2001. has since closed and my dear sweet Grandmother and the Greats Aunts. Premiere: Lupa J presents a swelling final album tease, Pull Me Under. Sweet J Presents is the Internet-only precursor to Robot Chicken. This eventually became 'Robot Chicken', named precisely after the dish. We are totally humbled and honored to be able to present this to you and serve you. While Matt and Seth were working on the idea a Sony website heard about the idea and approached the two about creating an internet only series. The dish was described as' Tender chunks of chicken breast fried in a light batter and cooked in a sweet and pungent sauce'. The name for the show kept changing and changing due to copyright and legal reasons until eventually they came upon the dish ' Robot Chicken ' in a local Chinese restaurant. I say wisely because already Im eager for Season Two. A Sony website caught wind of the idea and approached Seth & Matt about creating a series based on the concept. Seth Green had contacted friend and associate Matt Senreich for help creating a stop-motion animation featuring himself and Conan O'Brien, for an appearance on his late-night talk show. Matt had a regular feature titled ' Twisted Toyfare Theater' in which Seth was a fan and eventually the idea for Robot Chicken came about after Seth appeared on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'. Wisely, only a few episodes from the Sony website prototype show, Sweet J Presents, are included. Sweet J Presents is the Internet-only precursor to Robot Chicken. From the twisted minds of Seth and Matt ,the idea came up when Matt Seinrech interviewed Seth Green for ' Toyfare' magazine. Action figures are used to great effect to spoof tv, movies, music and celebrities. Created by Seth Green and Matt Senreich, Robot Chicken is a festival of old-school stop motion animation and fast-paced satire.
